Katherine is a visual artist working in a variety of media, including acrylics, oils, natural materials and collage. She creates original art inspired by wildlife and nature and is particularly interested in highlighting the conservation of British wildlife, and supporting social causes.
Her work seeks to be expressive and explorative, aiming to feel painterly and visceral for both artist and audience. She works instinctively with colour and texture; manipulating paint and other materials to create connection, movement and a sense of wild to the paintings.
Katherine has a background in Performance and Installation art, graduating from Northampton University in 2007 with a degree in Performance Studies and in 2008 with an MA in Fine Art. She also has an MFA in Photography from Belfast School of Art, Ulster University.
Katherine’s work has been sold to customers and collectors around the world, and this year she is focusing on exhibiting and building a new collection focused on native British wildlife.
