Katherine is an artist, photographer, writer and curator… she is a devoted mother, home educator and wife, an unwilling procrastinator, and fierce introvert.
She lives in the wilds of North Devon, England, on a smallholding by the woods with her husband and children. She enjoys being bad at gardening, spending time with nature, drinking tea, reading and writing poetry, spending time with her family, keeping chickens, ducks, goats and horses, and sitting in the sun.
In her art, and life, she is fascinated by light, and dark, and the bits in between; the glow, the shadows, the embers, the flickers and fragments. She is interested in capturing the surreal moments, the incandescent, the bursts of our psyche, the crumblings of our dreams, the glimpses of real life fairy tales.
In work she is passionate about encouraging people to live simply and slowly, yet abundantly. Katherine believes in embracing nature and the outdoors, holistic health and wellness, freedom in education, and nurturing creativity. All to enrich life and improve well being.
